We’re thrilled to announce that McArthur’s Yard has won ‘Best New Development in the South’ at the coveted First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2023 held on 1st September 2023.
Guinness Homes had been shortlisted for four First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards, some of the most acclaimed awards in the industry, where they scooped the winner for McArthur’s Yard, along with ‘Highly Commended – Best Off-Plan Development’, for Signal Park in Tolworth (Kingston-upon-Thames).
The awards are an annual celebration of excellence in building homes and producing top quality housing to help aspirational buyers on to the housing ladder and were in their 13th year.

Show Home Now Open

On 8 July, prospective home buyers were welcomed onsite to view our newly opened show home and were met with guided tours and celebratory refreshments.
The sumptuous show home has been designed by Blocc Interiors and features bespoke textured artwork made using sustainable paints. The colour palette is rich featuring naturals, gold and dark blue tones.
Each apartment reflects modern city living with a high specification as standard. Kitchens are fitted with long-lasting Caesarstone worktops, Symphony kitchen cabinets and Zanussi and Bosch integrated appliances, including a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The sense of luxury continues in the bathrooms with full baths and thermostatic showers. The bedrooms have been designed as spacious doubles, providing flexibility for children or visiting friends and family.
Effectively designed to let in as much natural light as possible, all apartments feature large windows – enhancing the immersive city feel throughout. Stylish high ceilings provide a sense of space and calm, making the apartments the perfect choice for those whose homes double as workspaces. With a video entry system for each apartment, buyers can be assured of their security and safety.
Adding to its unique charm and style, the development has utilised recycled materials throughout the build, sourced from the location’s previous building which was destroyed in a fire. McArthur’s Yard has repurposed the surviving stone and incorporated it into part of the building, reducing waste and adding a sustainable yet historical detail, unique to the development.

Prices start at £310,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, up to £725,000 for a three-bedroom apartment. The homes are set to be ready to move in for summer 2024.

Guinness Homes releases first homes off-plan at Brunel Square

Guinness Homes, part of The Guinness Partnership, is set to launch 70 outright sale luxury homes at their long-awaited harbourside development, McArthur’s Yard, in Bristol.
From the 16th to the 19th of March, the four-day launch event, held at SS Great Britain Brunel Square, will give prospective buyers the opportunity to reserve off plan, ahead of the grand marketing suite and show home launch this summer.
The event will launch the outright sale homes, and is comprised of one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom duplexes and three-bedroom duplexes. The properties are now available for reservation, with prices starting at £310,000 (one-bedroom), though to £725,000 (three-bedroom).
